German club Schalke 04 have revealed their new away soccer jersey that they will wear in their pursuit of the Bundesliga during the 2010/11 domestic campaign.
The team had a successful 09/10 season which saw them finish runners up in the Bundesliga to eventual champions Bayern Munich by five points. Their 65 point haul ensures that they will play in the Champions League during 2010/11. This comes just a season after a poor 8th place finish cost Fred Rutten his managerial job. Experienced German manager Felix Mageth took charge and will hope to lead them to the title in 10/11.
The new Schalke 04 2010/11 away soccer jersey is predominately dark blue with a light blue sleeve trim and a light blue V neck collar. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo centrally below the collar whilst the three traditional light blue stripes run down the shoulders. The club badge is situated in the top left of the jersey and sponsors “Gazprom” position their large white logo across the centre of the body.
